Inspire your child’s love of cooking this fall with CookLearnGrow! In celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary, young chefs will explore classic American-inspired seasonal recipes while learning essential cooking and baking techniques. Through hands-on classes, students will build kitchen confidence, creativity, teamwork, and valuable life skills in a fun and engaging environment. Each session features NEW RECIPES and seasonal activities, giving students plenty of opportunities to create, cook, and discover new flavors. Allergy Information: We are able to accommodate nut allergies only. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate egg, gluten, or other food allergies. Come join us for a fun girls-only enrichment class where we will make new friends and have a blast. Each day will bring the joy of a slumber party to the classroom. We will listen to our favorite music, craft jewelry, have spa days, make crafts, use bubbles, and use outdoor chalk. We will also play games, paint our nails, and unleash our girly side. It will be the best Swifty themed party each day.

What is Kardivas? Kardivas is a character-building club for 5th grade girls designed to encourage each girl to recognize that she is uniquely created with purpose, has worth, and has something valuable to contribute. For more than 20 years, Kardivas has helped prepare LTISD girls for the transition to middle school through weekly meetings, service projects, social activities, and positive mentorship. Every 5th grade girl is invited to join! What is the Club Like? Kardivas meetings are fun, welcoming, and interactive! Girls enjoy a snack, receive awards, participate in icebreaker games, and take part in meaningful discussions focused on character and relationships. Topics may include honesty, being a good friend, forgiveness, gratitude, and other skills that help girls build confidence and positive relationships. In addition to weekly meetings, Kardivas offers optional social events, service projects, and special celebrations, including Christmas and Easter parties. These events are held off campus and outside of the regular Thursday meeting time, and participation is completely optional. How is Kardivas Organized? Each Kardivas club is organized and managed by a team of leader moms who have a 5th grade daughter at the school. Lake Travis High School senior girls also serve as mentors, helping lead activities and discussions during club meetings. Scholarships are available upon request. Every week brings new challenges, team games, and plenty of opportunities to run, jump, and have fun. Designed to spark curiosity, this engaging program introduces children to exciting concepts in engineering, physics, and chemistry while showing how science is part of everyday life. Each week features a brand-new topic as kids investigate bridge construction, the forces of flight, air pressure, chemical reactions, and much more. Through creative experiments and problem-solving challenges, they'll build critical thinking skills while having a blast. The learning doesn't stop when class ends—every participant takes home a project each week to continue the exploration and excitement at home. Coach McLaughlin's Spiking Spikers Volleyball Camp is the perfect introduction to volleyball for students in 2nd - 5th grade. Campers will learn the fundamentals of passing, setting, serving, and teamwork through fun games, exciting drills, and positive encouragement. Whether your child is brand new to the sport or already loves volleyball, they'll build confidence, making new friends, stay active, and have a blast in a supportive environment. No experience necessary! Led by veteran Coach Lori McLaughlin, campers will experience positive coaching, age appropriate instruction, and fun filled introduction to one of the world's most exciting sports.

As a Spirit Squad member, you'll help lead the excitement at monthly school assemblies, with at least two featured performance opportunities throughout the year. We'll meet weekly to prepare for assemblies, learn fun routines, and take part in special school spirit events. This is your chance to build confidence, make new friends, and help create the fun, positive atmosphere that makes LPE so special!
