AI Robotics Engineering Students will discover the exciting world of artificial intelligence and robotics through hands-on coding, engineering, and design challenges. Working in teams, they will program robots to sense, respond, and navigate their environment using sensors, logic, and AI-inspired decision-making. Throughout the camp, students will apply the engineering design process as they build, test, and improve their robots through a series of coding missions and robotics challenges. Along the way, they'll strengthen problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and computational thinking skills. The experience culminates in an exciting Robot Competition, where teams put their coding, engineering, and strategic thinking to the test in timed autonomous robot challenges.

Get ready—it's a zoo in here! This exciting unit is perfect for kids who can't get enough of creatures big, small, slithery, or downright silly. Each week, we'll build motorized models inspired by fascinating animals, from snakes and insects to mammals and more. As we build, we'll discover amazing animal facts, like how chameleons change color to blend into their surroundings and why seals have such an adorable waddle. Every project combines creativity, engineering, and hands-on fun as kids bring their moving models to life while exploring the incredible diversity of the animal kingdom.

LEGO® Stop-Motion Movie Makers Lights, camera, LEGO®! In LEGO® Stop-Motion Movie Makers, students become filmmakers, storytellers, builders, directors, and production crew members as they create their own animated movies using LEGO® bricks and stop-motion technology. Working in small production teams, students will design LEGO® sets, create original characters, develop storylines, film stop-motion scenes, add sound effects, and produce short animated movies. Each week introduces a different part of the filmmaking process, giving students opportunities to build new skills while bringing their creative ideas to life. This hands-on class combines creativity, storytelling, engineering, technology, communication, and teamwork in a fun and engaging format. Activities are designed to be accessible for younger students while offering plenty of creative challenges for older elementary students.

Explore Architecture with Wicked Workshop! Discover the world of architecture through hands-on design challenges! Wicked Workshop is a maker-based program where students tackle the same types of creative problems architects face in the real world. Through engaging, project-based activities, students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and design skills while learning to think independently and creatively. Students are encouraged to explore ideas, experiment with solutions, make improvements, and bring their designs to life. Wicked Workshop’s hands-on approach makes architecture fun and accessible while building skills students can use in school and beyond.

Come join us for a fun girls-only enrichment class where we will make new friends and have a blast. Each day will bring the joy of a slumber party to the classroom. We will listen to our favorite music, craft jewelry, have spa days, make crafts, use bubbles, and use outdoor chalk. We will also play games, paint our nails, and unleash our girly side. It will be the best Swifty themed party each day.

What is Kardivas? Kardivas is a character-building club for 5th grade girls designed to encourage each girl to recognize that she is uniquely created with purpose, has worth, and has something valuable to contribute. For more than 20 years, Kardivas has helped prepare LTISD girls for the transition to middle school through weekly meetings, service projects, social activities, and positive mentorship. Every 5th grade girl is invited to join! What is the Club Like? Kardivas meetings are fun, welcoming, and interactive! Girls enjoy a snack, receive awards, participate in icebreaker games, and take part in meaningful discussions focused on character and relationships. Topics may include honesty, being a good friend, forgiveness, gratitude, and other skills that help girls build confidence and positive relationships. In addition to weekly meetings, Kardivas offers optional social events, service projects, and special celebrations, including Christmas and Easter parties. These events are held off campus and outside of the regular Thursday meeting time, and participation is completely optional. How is Kardivas Organized? Each Kardivas club is organized and managed by a team of leader moms who have a 5th grade daughter at the school. Lake Travis High School senior girls also serve as mentors, helping lead activities and discussions during club meetings. Scholarships are available upon request. Coach McLaughlin's Spiking Spikers Volleyball Camp is the perfect introduction to volleyball for students in 2nd - 5th grade. Campers will learn the fundamentals of passing, setting, serving, and teamwork through fun games, exciting drills, and positive encouragement. Whether your child is brand new to the sport or already loves volleyball, they'll build confidence, making new friends, stay active, and have a blast in a supportive environment.
