Extended CareExtended Care: After-School Experiences Await! Looking for a safe, engaging, and fun programk for your child after school? Lake Travis Community Programs Extended Care provides quality after-school care throughout the school year for students in PreK through 5th grade. Our mission is to provide a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where children can connect with friends, unwind after the school day, and participate in a balance of recreation, creativity, and structured activities. Guided by our caring and dedicated staff, students enjoy games, crafts, outdoor play, homework time, and group activities that encourage positive relationships, responsibility, and confidence. Tuition Options Consistent Schedule: $220 per month Monday through Friday attendance on a consistent weekly schedule. Drop-In Schedule: $30 per day Flexible attendance—you choose the days you would like your child to attend. LTISD Employee Discount:Please contact Community Programs to inquire about discounted tuition rates available to eligible LTISD employees. Registration Information Step 1: Submit Your RegistrationComplete and submit your registration form. After submission, you will receive an email confirming that we have received your registration and that it is pending staff review. Step 2: Wait for ApprovalOur staff will review your registration based on program availability. Your child is not officially enrolled until you receive a second email confirming that your registration has been approved. Step 3: Registration Fee is ProcessedOnce your registration has been approved, the non-refundable $50 registration fee will be processed using the payment method you provided during registration. Step 4: Your Child's Spot is ReservedThe $50 registration fee is required for each child, per school year. This fee reserves your child's place in the program and helps us prepare for a successful year of after-school care and enrichment. Step 5: Watch for Your Enrollment StatusEnrollment is processed based on program availability, and spaces are limited. We encourage families to register early to secure their child's spot. If your child's registration is approved, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know they are officially enrolled. Game Makers: Coding & Creativity in Action for Grades 3-5Rough Hollow ElementaryStep into the world of coding and creativity in Game Makers! Students will become real game designers as they create their own digital games from the ground up. Using kid-friendly coding platforms like Scratch and MakeCode Arcade, they’ll design characters, set challenges, and bring stories to life through interactive play. Each week, students will learn a new piece of the game design process—coding movement, adding sound, designing levels, and testing their games just like professional developers. LT Staff Cav CareCommunity Programs is pleased to offer LTISD CAV CARE. The Cav Care NON-school day program is a fun, safe, and engaging childcare program offered during Lake Travis ISD Professional Development days to support staff families throughout the 2026–2027 school year. Designed for elementary age LTISD students, the program provides a full day of supervised care, filled with activities, including arts and crafts, games, STEM projects, gross motor activities, and indoor and outdoor play. A nut-free snack is provided daily, and families should send a nut-free lunch (if enrolling for full day), additional nut-free snacks, and a water bottle. Registration for each CAV CARE session is available through your Arux parent portal, with enrollment offered on a first-come, first-served basis. LTShield Chromebook InsuranceStudent DevicesThe District provides an “optional” LTShield Chromebook Protection Plan. The District strongly encourages families to purchase the LTShield Protection Plan for each student’s Chromebook each school year. The LTShield Protection Plan is an annual program that must be renewed each school year. LTShield Protection plan is applied per Chromebook and not per family. For example, to be fully covered, a family with two students in grades 6-12 would need to purchase two (2) Chromebook Protection Plans, one for each Chromebook.Although not required, the District strongly encourages families to purchase the LTShield Protection Plan for each student’s Chromebook each school year.
