Dance Team Prep Ready to take your dancing to the next level? Whether your goal is to make the LTHS Red Rubies, the HBMS Pom Squad, or simply become a stronger, more confident dancer, this class is for you! Designed for aspiring dance team members, this class focuses on developing the skills needed to succeed both in auditions and on the performance floor. Students will work on advanced technique, flexibility, strength, turns, leaps, performance quality, and confidence while learning what it takes to perform as part of a dance team. Dancers will also receive personalized instruction and feedback to help them improve their technique, build confidence, and reach their individual goals in a positive and encouraging environment. What to Wear: Dance attire (leotard, fitted T-shirt or tank) Black leggings Jazz shoes What to Bring: Water bottle Nut-free snack Whether you're preparing for tryouts or simply want to strengthen your dance skills, this class is a fun and supportive place to grow as a dancer!

Students are responsible for taking care of their District-issued Chromebooks. Each student must report any damage and request repair by visiting the campus Tech Depot. Repairs are usually conducted on-site with minimal disruption to the student. If the Chromebook needs to be replaced due to first-time accidental damage or a manufacturing defect, there will be no charge to the student. The student will be responsible for the replacement cost for any intentional or repeated damage. Damage to a Chromebook that is determined by building administration or Technology Department Staff to be intentional is excluded from LTShield Protection Plan coverage. For any deliberate or repeated subsequent accidental damage, the student will be responsible for the cost of a replacement device.

Throughout the fall, students will dive into the exciting world of flight with hands-on experiences designing, building, and flying drones, remote-control airplanes, and rockets. With multiple class sessions dedicated to each aircraft, students will develop real engineering and piloting skills while exploring the science behind flight. We don't just learn about it—we do it! In LEGO® Stop-Motion Movie Makers, students become filmmakers, storytellers, builders, directors, and production crew members as they create their own animated movies using LEGO® bricks and stop-motion technology. Working in small production teams, students will design LEGO® sets, create original characters, develop storylines, film stop-motion scenes, add sound effects, and produce short animated movies. Each week introduces a different part of the filmmaking process, giving students opportunities to build new skills while bringing their creative ideas to life. This hands-on class combines creativity, storytelling, engineering, technology, communication, and teamwork in a fun and engaging format. Activities are designed to be accessible for younger students while offering plenty of creative challenges for older elementary students.
