Game Makers: Coding & Creativity in Action for Grades 3-5

Step into the world of coding and creativity in Game Makers! Students will become real game designers as they create their own digital games from the ground up. Using kid-friendly coding platforms like Scratch and MakeCode Arcade, they’ll design characters, set challenges, and bring stories to life through interactive play.

Each week, students will learn a new piece of the game design process—coding movement, adding sound, designing levels, and testing their games just like professional developers. By the end of the session, every student will have a fully playable game to share at our Game Expo Showcase!
